Ribbon jumper
I wanted to try and make something rather like a Monsoon garment for my daughter- she has a beautiful pair of jeans and a skirt with heavy ribboning around the bottom. This is what a came up with. Jaeger Merino DK, Ann Budd's book for basic measurements but with my own additions. I bought the ribbon mainly from Cheap Fabrics, and some from John Lewis.
